Hi everyone. I’m Mira, a 2d animator, illustrator, and artist. My creations tend to gravitate towards dark humor, inviting everyone to laugh when they aren’t sure they should. I can’t help myself. I developed a distinctive style, while studying at Pratt Institute and Glasgow School of Art, characterized by varied line widths and flattened perspectives. But don’t worry, I’m also very versatile, previously working on projects for a Brooklyn-based game design company Feral Cat Den, and the Minnesota Historical Society, among others.

I’m working on a number of independent projects, and my animated short “Heaven’s Escape” has been screened recently in Germany, England, New York City, Minneapolis, Portland, Maine, and Brisbee, Arizona.

Let me help you with your creative endeavors. I’m interested in opportunities in web-based work, TV, and feature films. My day jobs have been in video editing, character design, concept art, animation, art-instruction, and commissioned digital and fine art. And let’s be honest, I also rely on my IT skills to pay some bills.

When I’m not creating, I’m bopping around NYC catching the emerging bands, running 3 miles max at the park near my Brooklyn apartment, and teaching myself piano.
